5 Short Wedding Dresses We’re Loving for Spring Brides

Short dresses are one of the many trends that create striking and chic looks, and what is most spectacular is that those looks might serve for any occasion and style. Wedding gowns are also included in this list, and are among the experiments you can opt for this year thanks to designer Krikor Jabotian’s Spring collection!

With an abundance of feathers, full skirts and pearl-embroidered details, be inspired with these embellished looks giving off a modern vibe, while maintaining a classic look and feel.

The Wild Bunch

Wearing a short dress, you’ll have the ultimate spring fun and enjoy the day to the full (while not thinking about the inconveniences that you will have to face when dancing). Jabotian pared down his typically lavish style for a bridal collection that was subtle, with an old Hollywood glamour inspired by Marilyn Monroe. In need of a soft, feminine, dress? Be inspired with shimmering feathers and a back-split gown ideal for showing off some leg!

Woman on the Verge

We should note that the ‘70s ladies got married in mini wedding dresses, which looked cute and charming. Drawing from his ready-to-wear collection, Jabotian offered a mix of glamour and modesty representing every type of bride with dramatic hems. Inspired by a garden in full bloom, 3D floral appliqués and small pearls, hit up your spring wedding ambience with a sweeping influence on hi-low gowns for a cool ceremony-to-reception soiree.

Bonfire of the Vanity

Krikor Jabotian continued the feather inspiration of his fall ready-to-wear collection into his latest bridal offering. The use of ruffles and bold accessories dictated the colour palette of ivory and white with plenty of antique embroidery that works equally well at an outdoor wedding or fashion-forward style.

The Age of Innocence

Jabotian appeals to the fashion-forward bride looking for understated bold designs with minimal flourishes, back-pleated silhouettes, frills and embroidered accents. The standout with this gown is not only a two-piece ensemble with a hand-beaded neckline, but a hint of colourful accessories reinforcing the spring season ahead.

Belles de Jour

The latest bridal offering mixed traditional and contemporary silhouettes, decorating elegant gowns with plenty of pearl embroidery and other textural elements. A playfully fresh standout included a midriff bodice with jewelled tapestry and a frilly hem layered with a knee-length tea skirt.
